Halloween was great this year!!

We thought that it might be ruined on the count of the weather... Seriously we thought a tornado would touch down, this storm came out of no where one minute we were carving pumpkins and talking about hot it was and then 10 minutes later the wind blew it rained and hailed and dumped for like 2 hours!!!! Then it cleared up and all was well yeah!!!

So Brecklyn wanted to be Princess Bubblegum this year.. For those of you who do not have cartoon network, you probably are thinking who?? along with most everyone else we know, anyway she is off of this show called Adventure Time. So I dressed as Finn he is the main character off the show. He runs around with a weird hat on his head and a backpack on his back and has a talking dog named Jake?? They go on magical adventures together along with Princess Bubblegum!! look it up!!

Jace wanted to be a Zombie guy I did a pretty awesome job I think!! He looked really freaky and won a prize at the carnival for it...

So it turned out to be a Fabulous Halloween as always!!

Summer Games 2010

Well the summer games are over, well at least for the Sevier River Rats.
They had lots of fun and played there hardest every day.

We didn't come home with a medal, but they were happy just to be able to go and participate in such an awesome event!!
The kids on all of the other teams were a couple years older, and a lot more experienced!!! Which kinda sucked!! But they learned a lot and they will be ready to kick some butt next year I'm sure!!! Way to go boys!!!

Hooray for summer:) finally!!!!! So we got to go to Lake Powell this weekend it was FABULOUS!!! We had tonz of fun and only came home with a couple of 3rd degree burns ha ha. Why do I always forget my freaking camera. I took this with my phone no water tho, oh well I will have to see what Jason took on his phone and add some. Can't wait to go back in just a few short weeks!!! HOORAY I get excited just thinking about it!!

Easter 2010

So we were invited to go with some friends on there family Easter egg hunt and picnic. It was a lot of fun!! We got to go on a hay ride around the neighbor hood and then up the mountain. It was a little bit cold but we still had a blast! The kids were divided into age groups and boys and girls and they got dumped off at different spots on the ride and had a egg/treasure hunt. They all ended up back at the camp where there was a big prize and a real bunny waiting for them!! Breck was so sad that we did not let her keep her bunny!! But we tried to explain to her that we had no where to keep the bunny and that Kadie our dog would probably eat it!! That would be really Bad!!!! Any how we had tonz of fun and were so happy to have been invited!! After we got home from the picnic we hooked on the trailer and headed for Cainville woo hoo!! Lots of Gray Dirt Wind and FUN!! We really do have a ton of fun down there! There are tonz of places for the kids to run and hike and roll eggs. And ride the four wheelers where ever (as long as you watch out for the idiots that are having a little too much fun and not paying attention!!) We so hope that maybe one day we will be able to talk Jason's family in to going down with us IT IS TONZ OF FUN!!! And of course I left the camera!! So I decided to add a couple of pictures from the last time we were there for Easter in 2008. so you could get an idea of the place.

Pinewood Derby 2010

So Jace decided he wanted to make a Utah Highway Patrol car for his derby car this year, and it turned out to be so cool! His dad and Grandpa got right to work on figuring out how to make real flashing red and blue lights. They turned out awesome

He got 2nd place and he was OK with that a little, but the funny thing is who he ended up doing the final with!! The General Lee you know the cool car that always out ran the cops on the Dukes Of Hazzard!! It was a good race but the bad guys came up first just like on the show!! But he still had a good time I think? even though the kid he lost too came up to tell him good job and Jace said "I hope your car Breaks" I always thought I was raising a good sport?? maybe not?

Pink BB Gun??

So Breck went to see Santa with her friends on Saturday and when she came home I asked her what she told Santa. She told me all about the visit and what her friends asked for and then she proceeded to tell me what she told him she wanted for Christmas, she told Santa she wanted a pink bb gun. I asked her if she really asked him for that and she said yes!! So I ask her why haven't you told me or dad that you wanted a pink bb gun for Christmas? and she says "I don't have to tell you I only have to tell Santa what I really want for Christmas because he is the one who will bring it to me!!" So I am like ok. Well then she decided to write a letter to Santa, and when she brought me the letter it said nothing about a pink bb gun anywhere. I asked her why she didn't mention the bb gun and she said "I already told him in person I don't have to ask again!!!!!" Ok I said. A little while later I asked her again and she told me to drop it Santa already knew what she wanted because she told him. Later that day she came and told me she really wanted to see if Santa would tell her she would shoot her eye out like he told that kid in the movie but, she really does still want a pink bb gun and that she was sure Santa would bring her one because she would be so careful. Does Santa even Make pink bb guns??? I thought, well I just found out that he does.

So can I just say HOW STUPID CAN YOU BE???? Today I am taking My oldest child to school and as we are approaching the school we see police cars flying up the street passing us and an ambulance coming in the other direction! and I am thinking holy crap someone got hit because some idiot would not stop for them in the cross walk!! as we got closer sure enough there is a girl laying in the middle of the street and panic and craziness all around her.

Holy freaking crap people!!! do you not know what to do at a cross walk when there is a child trying to cross safely to get to school!! It's even a marked cross walk!!! not to mention a SCHOOL ZONE 20 mpr people!!! right in front of the school!!! pull your heads out and pay attention!!! I am just so thankful that my children do not have to cross 4th west!! anyone who knows our city knows what I am talking about. It is one long stretch of street that takes you to all four schools with a bunch of idiot texting teenage drivers and crazy half asleep parents trying to get to the schools first??? How hard is it for you to slow down and pay attention to everything around you.

Ride to the window

So we rode to the window this weekend with my Dad, Mom, Maeleen, and Bryant. It was fabulous the weather was perfect and the ride as always was fabulous too. We stopped at the shepherds end monument it is pretty cool they have a headstone that tells about a sheep herder that was killed by the Butch Cassidy gang.this is picture of the original grave marker.

we also stopped at the copper globe mine it is really cool too.

There are tons of wild horses out there but I have never got the chance to see them, only the poop they leave behind, But this time we got to see them they are amazing they came running out of no where and crossed right in front of us it was AWESOME!!!! I almost didn't get the picture cause I had to dig for the camera.
We live in such an Awesome place!! I was so glad we got to make the trip with my Mom and Dad. They are getting old now but my Mom can still tare up the trails like Hells Angels!!

Holy Krap I can't believe we are in October

September was Brecks 7th birthday

We went to Lake Powell a couple of times once in July and once in September but of
course I always forget to take the camera ARGH!!!!

We had our anual 24th of July camp out at Fish Lake

4th of July we had all the Haywoods here it was tonz of fun

Vacation to Sea World and Magic Mountain

We had tonz of fun on our vacation!! We left town around 7:00pm on the 27th and started the long journey in a 12 passenger van with 9 passengers on board and 5 passengers being under the age of 15 loaded up on Dramamine (a must with my children) WOW!! We made it as far as Prim Nevada that night at around 11:30pm and checked in to Whisky Pete's hotel. We left the next morning at around 9:30am and made it to San Diego at around 2:30pm (I think?) We decided to spend a few extra bucks and stay at the Bahia resort because it looked really fabulous online! the only problem was that I don't think they have updated there pictures online for a few years!! the rooms were really small and not so clean!! We found a diaper behind the couch!! (not used but still eeeoooh!!) and cereal and sticky yuck all over our floor!! there were dirty dishes in the drawers and a box of fruit loops in the cupboard, who knows how long it had been there!! But, the beds were clean and it was not so bad after all. The pool and hot tub were the nicest part of the hotel and they have a private beach, and it is only five minutes away from Sea World!! Yeah!! We just kinda hung out the first day, we took a tour of the property which is pretty cool! they had a seal pool which the kids thought was great and you could walk right out to Mission Bay they have a section that is private just for the guests. The next day we drove down the street to Belmont park and the Beach it was awesome!! the kids got to play in the ocean and Freeze to death, it actually was not too cold we still had a blast!! That night we got to take a cruise on the Bahia Belle around mission bay it was pretty cool. The next day we got up early and headed to Sea World and of course the day we decide to go it was raining!! We thought it was going to be a terrible day and that we would have to make the most of it! But we really ended up having a really great time the weather ended up being just right!! not too hot and not too cold!! We all had a blast!! Sunday we checked out and headed to Los Angeles a couple hours later we could see the sun again yeah!!! Our Hotel there was sooooo nice and lots cheaper!!! We got up early on Monday and headed to Six Flags Magic Mountain!! Hooray!!! I Love Roller Coasters!!! I could so totally be one of those geeks that travel around the country going to different amusement parks and wear those geeky shirts that say I Survived the big one!! The only thing is that I wish we could have had more time to ride the rides!!!! the park closed early because it was still not peak season. We thought maybe we would be lucky and it would not be so busy but, there were 52 different Junior High schools there for the end of the school year fling!! Still we had a fun time but, next time I know I will Not!! take my smallest child who was a pain in the BUTT!! and decided that she hates roller coasters!!! and she was also not tall enough for most of them. I want to go back so bad and ride the rides that we didn't get time to!! We left Tuesday morning around 9 and drove all the way home making only three stops once at a rest stop to pee once in Vegas to eat and pee and once in Cedar City to pee. We got home about 8:30pm Tuesday night Whoooo!!! Any how we still had a great vacation and hopefully everyone enjoyed it as much as I did!!!!!!

The cruise around mission bay just ended up being a short trip to the other side of the bay(kinda Lame!) but, we still enjoyed it and it was something to do for freeeee!!

Spring Dance Recital

I am so glad that dance is over for the year!! The Recital was fabulous and everyone did a great job. Brecklyn is of course the cutest and best dancer of the group (she wouldn't have it any other way!!!) I took a different camera with me which obviously I don't know how to work!!

So life has been crazy the last couple of weeks!! actually month, with baseball, softball, dance recitals, cheer, tumbling, baby showers, baby blessings, work, Kindergarten programs, and trying to be a good mom and be several places at once!!!and Jason has been out of town for training! Freak!! what else can be thrown in there! oh yeah getting ready to go on vacation which I'm not so sure is going to be a relaxing vacation!
Baseball is in full swing and Jace is loving it. It's nice to get to go relax and hang out on the grass for while and cheer him on. Brecklyns Big dance recital is tonight and then we will be through with dance until fall!! (YEAH), and Hailey is an official RHS Cheer Leader which I might say is breaking my small piggy bank and just keeps adding up. She is so exicited that she made it and so am I(I think???) I can't beleive how fast time goes by!! I will have to post some pictures when I can get some.

My baby girl turned 14 yesterday! I can't belive I am this old! She is amazing and I couldn't be more proud of her. She is a 4.00 student which I could only dream about when I was that age, and an awesome kid. I tried to find some older pictures of her but I could only find printed ones oh well. Jace earned his bobcat badge last night at scouts. We have lots of work to do. I have no clue what I am doing! Or how to pass stuff off, so that he can earn badges, belt clips, and all kinds of weird stuff. Lots of kids were getting all kinds of awards and I am so clueless!

14 years

Today is our 14th Anniversary Holy cow! So here is little info about our life together. We met while we were both working at the OC Tanner company. I noticed him walking by my department one day on his way to the lunch room. I would smile and bat my eyelashes at him to try and get him to notice me, he would smile and keep walking then one day he decided to ask me out for lunch we went to Scone cutter. Next he asked me out on a real date, sorta. We went to Diamond Lills as we were walking into the restaurant he says "hey look there is my Dad" I was thinking weird? that his dad would be at the same place we were. Well it turned out that his whole family was there including Grandparents and some aunts and uncles. It was a little odd I thought but it was still fun. We went to the Utah vs Byu basketball game after dinner, and once again set with the whole family. I was thinking wow he really likes to spend time with his family! No his family had actually paid for it, and that is why we were all together and it also made it a really cheap date for him. It was still great fun and it was the start of a great relationship that I have with his family. We dated for almost two years and were married on December 4th 1994. We've been through the usual ups and downs of marriage and we still manage to keep it together. One thing for certain is that I do love him, he is a great Dad and a devoted police officer who works hard everyday to keep our state and highways safe! Happy Anniversary I love you forever! Pumpkin Carving

We carved the pumpkin's today. I thought we would wait a little later in the day and let the pumpkin's warm up, because they are easier to carve when they are warm. Well, it got hot!! freaky hot but, we still had lots of fun doing it except for Hailey who is against any kind of family fun! she chose not to join us and hung out with friends as usual.

Hannah Montana eat your heart out. Brecklyn had her Halloween parade at school yesterday it was tonz of fun and of course she was the cutest Hannah of all. (The little princess next to Breck is her best friend Kenady.)

Pumkin Patch

Crystal came down with the girls this weekend to go to the pumkin patch. The kids had alot of fun we also went to an apple orchid before the pumkin patch (I have to get those pictures from Crystals camera though.) It was the perfect day for it. the weather was awesome and the patch was busier than I have ever seen it! They had four hay wagons going. Crazy!!! We still had tonz of fun picking pumkins and apples.

We just got home from our cruise last night but, I still feel like I'm on the ship!!!! I wish everything would quit rocking back and forth!!!!! blahhhhh I want to vomit! seven days is along time to be on a ship. The cruise was really fun we had a ball. We got right in the path of hurricane Norbert and got diverted to stay ahead of the storm. Instead of going from Puerto Vallarta to Mazatlan we had to stay ahead of the storm so we ended up in Cabo San Lucas a day earlier and not going to Mazatlan at all because the Hurricane was due to hit there on the day we were supposed to port there. I was a little upset but, we still got to stop at three places like planned. They replaced Mazatlan for Ensenada which turned out to be pretty great too. I can now say I have been to two of the three blow holes that exist in the world, Kauwi and Ensenada. I told Jason we would defiantly have to go to Australia next year to see the third he just laughed at me. I realize I didn't take very many pictures but, we were always in a rush when we were on land. We got to go on a a zip line in Puerto Vallarta it was so much fun!!!! it was also hotter then Hades!!! the humidity made it almost unbearable but, it was so worth it!!!! we also got to experience a little bit of the hurricane while we were there CRAZY! some of the palm trees looked like they would snap and it poured rain like I have never seen! luckily we had just made it back on the ship when this started and that is when we heard that Norbert was right on our tail, and that we would not be stopping in Mazatlan the next day. Cabo was also fabulous other then the locals who would ask you if you wanted to get high if you did not want the other things they were selling. It was alot of fun and I can't wait to go on another one! even though I still feel like I am floating along on the ocean BLAHHHHH!

I love the Kindergarten field trip every year the elementary takes the Kindergartner's to the Pumpkin Patch it is so much fun. I was so happy that it was planned before our cruise I would have hated to miss it! They take them out on a hay ride through the field of pumpkin's it is so pretty and then they let everyone pick out a small pumpkin. Brecklyn was so excited that she got to set by her friend Abby. It was so much fun and the kids love it. Brecklyn could not decide which one to pick but, she finally found the perfect pumpkin to take home.
